Equipment Recommendations
Great shows don’t happen by accident. They’re built on clarity and clarity starts with the right gear.
Remote Recording Essentials
When you’re recording remotely, your setup doesn’t need to be complicated but it does need to be intentional. At a minimum, you’ll want:
Microphone
Microphone Arm or Stand
Headphones
Webcam
Laptop
Lighting
High Speed Internet Connection
Our current favourite webcams
Cameras with heavy post-processing features (AI background blur, focus modes, HDR, auto white-balance) often actually make the video quality worse, not better when recording with Riverside. Here is a list of compatible cameras for recording in Riverside HERE.
Logitech Brio Ultra 4K HD Webcam
Logitech StreamCam Premium Webcam
Logitech c920
Elgato Facecam 4K
NOTE: Turn off Logitech webcam auto-exposure
Some Logitech webcams use an auto-exposure feature that adjusts the camera's light sensitivity. In low light, the automatic adjustments can also reduce the video's frame rate and be distracting.
Follow the steps below to turn off your Logitech webcam's auto-exposure using Logi Tune.
Recommendations
Run Logi Tune on your computer while recording for best results.
You can also use Logi Tune to turn off the camera's auto-exposure and maximize your computer's processing power.
We recommend connecting an external mic to your computer, rather than the Logitech Brio's built-in microphone.

There’s no one-size-fits-all solution.
We’ll help you build a setup that matches:
Your space
Your growth goals
Your production style
Your budget
Whether you’re starting simple or building a studio that scales with you, we’ll make sure your equipment supports your vision — not limits it.
If you’re unsure where to start, let’s design it properly from day one.
